Midnite, to me, was like one big communal meditation.Unfortunately, I'm not the meditative kind, but I enjoyed the experience for what it was nonetheless.
A few people had tears in their eyes from pure joy - and then there were those left wondering where all the hype had gone after Turbulence. But for the most part, the I think the crowd tuned into their vibration and were sincerely moved by their music and Vaughn's poetic verses.
For me, the joy was watching Ron (??) playing his bass like I've never seen anyone play bass. Wow! But I'm sorry to say I personally felt Vaughn was a little disconnected. He was either -really really really
- high, or ridiculously chilled out.
Anyway, definitely an experience to watch, and I'm glad I made the trek north to see them live and direct.
