BIG UP!
For more than 25 years, Radio Skidrow has been providing real community radio to Sydney. More than 15 language and youth groups broadcast out of Skidrow's Marrickville studios every week with most of the work is done by hard-working volunteers on the whiff of an oily rag. Radio Skidrow is roots radio at its best with great music and spoken word programs and now it's time to celebrate the fact and help keep the station on air.
Join Skidrow's finest reggae selectors and special guests for BIG UP! - an afternoon and evening party at the Great Hall, Addison Road Community Centre at 142 Addison Road, Marrickville from 4pm, March 17th.
BIG UP! will be a family friendly day (with excellent Jamaican food available) leading into a foundation reggae party featuring a heavyweight sound system and some of the best selectors in town! For a measly $10 you're going to get some terrific entertainment and know you're helping to support one of the pillars of community culture in Sydney - Radio Skidrow!

We are hiring the Hijack Rig for this event, If anybody wants to come and help with some boxes or has an interest in how the rig is set up please feel free to contact myself or Senor Bambu. We will be loading up a truck in Marrickville saturday morning and setting it up at Addison road. Big Ups !
