Give thanks. Glad to hear they did drop 'Pay Gone'.

Those lyrics dub with 'Listen' are from a tune called 'Stay' off Momentum ...

The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Wow what an event!! Gotta first and foremost give big respects to Raz and Krazy and the whole Reggaefest crew for putting on this one - no doubt this set the benchmark for reggae festivals in this country.

Highlights for me were Jake Savona / Vida Sunshyne and Darky Roots by a country mile. In fact I left Midnite on the main stage to go back out and watch the end of the Savona / Vida set cos it was heaps better! With Darky Roots I never left the stage to see anyone else...man like Hua got a voice of gold and these fellas going places.

I loved the Midnite show on Friday...was much more up-tempo and got me nicely warmed up for Saturday. Their performance on Saturday was...well, yeah I guess you could call it cer.......................eb............................ral......... or just plain slooooowwwwwww. I found it quite amusing to see a room packed full of people who'd just been shocking out to Turbulence trying to find some sorta rhythm to dance to with Midnite that didn't involve standing with your hand in the air for 17 seconds waiting for the next beat to drop... ;) As Static alluded, I may have found it slightly boring personally and if it weren't for the tip top show Friday I'd probably be wondering what all the fuss was about, but no doubt the lyrics are superb and the musicians were so tight it made my eyes water.

Turbulence was.....well...in my opinion he was a bag full of cheese and didn't do it for me at all.

But them there is the limit of any "complaints" I had about the event, other than it finished several days too early, and they're not complaints anyway cos if I didn't like what was on one stage I was sure to like something on another!

Was great to see so many people and meet others - El Rocker ya large, Jay-B send me your mates number so I can send him my dry cleaning bill ;)

Itations, Ites, Bellyas, Blair, Static, Dollamix (big ups papa!), all the Brisbane heads, all the interstaters... nuff man in the area!

Already counting down the days to next year, big up Blaze Fire and the Reggaefest massive!

I was lucky to reach just as Midnite were setting up on Friday night. Can't really add more to what has already been said. To me those few hours hours I was transported to another world. They are otherworldly.

The festival was nice, good vibes, awesome venue, great food, and nice music. Agree with the fact that sound system should have been represented, but maybe Byron massive and festival was more into a band thing than anything else? A big sound would have gone off I reckon.

Highlights for me were Midnite on Friday night, and Darky Roots, a sweet bunch of talented dudes. Was a true pleasure to see my good friends Hua and Matao on the stage finally and meet the rest of the boys.

Was lovely to see and meet so many friends old and new. Basmati, Dunchillan and Static thank you all for the vibes and generosity. And to all other ozreggae peeps which I had brief encounters with, was very nice putting names to faces. Much love.
