Yeah,It would have been nice to see the local band Zennith play a bit later on in the evening with the big names, as it won't be long before they become the next big thing. I reckon players like John Butler,Blue King Brown,and Katchafire should stand on their own, with a support band or two, rather than play festivals which usually rely on funding etc to pull them off. Just maybe ,that funding should go to promote emerging and hardworking local reggae and world music bands trying to make a go of it.After all ,these bands promote the music locally all year round and maybe could be rewarded with a good spot at local festivals. Wot u reckon.I agree though,it's a lot of hard and stressing work by the organizers so i can't really complain, but be thankful we have a Reggaetown Festival in the first place,though sometimes all the festival hype can distract from the real essence of the music.Praise Jah.
