106.7 PBS FM has started a new initiative to help raise badly needed funds for the station... all shows will now present a "spotlight special" at some point in the year, kind of like a one-shot radiothon thing.

I'll be doing mine tomorrow (March 17) from 5-7pm focusing on women in reggae music - from the early vocalists such as Marcia Griffiths, Hortense Ellis, Jennifer Lara, through to modern women such as Dezarie, Queen Omega, Tanya Stephens, etc. I'll also be broadcasting an interview with Queen Ifrika that I conducted in her backyard in Kingston in 2002.

Tune in for some of the biggest tunes in reggae history, plus nuff prizes and giveaways for new PBS members!
