For this release, Upsteppers went into the studio specifically to record original roots instrumentals, and handed over these sessions to 4 dub producers from around the country. They include Brisbane's PaulyB (Tanuki Dub), Frank Booth and Drewid (members of Kingfisha), as well as Papa Richie (Katoomba). We are proud with the way this album has come together, and we're also extremely grateful to these producers for sharing their talents and collaborating on this album.
Upsteppers In Dub has now been released through bris/international label Dub Temple Records and we'll be launching one of the singles from the album in a couple of weeks. You can click this link to their site where you can listen to the entire album of Upsteppers In Dub. If you want to downloads, we have included the first 2 tracks free and it's just $12 for the rest of the album. We can mail-out hard copies if people are keen.
Cheers
