True dat.

I enjoyed the show in Byron pity bout the crowd numbers or lack of them. Not alot of people knew about it.
I had to bail before the end of Astonomy Class tho unfortunatley as my eyelids were getting closer & closer the the floor... burning too many candles at both ends.

yo! thanks for all the feedback. yeah that Byron show was the oddest yet - the Beach Hotel has all the vibe of a Westfields foodcourt - and they did no promo at all which really sucks - but we had fun all the same. yes - Nikita, a great talent - gal sure can rock a mic! i saw her freestyling at the Herd Enmore Theatre show afterparty a while back and she was tearing it up - definitely one to watch. the shows in Coolum and Brisbane were great - good crowds and mad love! big respect to all those who showed up.

so Sydney tonight - it's gonna be big... Firehouse in mad effect from 9, Tongue and Diaz on about 10, and us Astronomers on stage around 11ish - loads of special guests lined up too - will be 100% wicked i guarantee! Firehouse will also close the night with some serious business - awoah!

only one piece of bad news and that's - NO T-SHIRTS tonight - our printer has failed us bigtime - heads will roll!!! they're still in production so hopefully we'll have em for Melbourne - otherwise i know what all my family and friends will be getting for Xmas from me this year...

anyway - i look forward to seeing some of you heads down there.

peace!

great show from the A-Class crew ... OziBatla, a host of MCs + singer Gina Mitchell entertained a big & excited crowd riding Chasm & Robbo's innovative beats and Johnny Maddox's rock solid bass (plus nuff space echo business) ... also from The Tongue and the wicked DJ Diaz - who backed up from some mad turntablism during their set to cut on 'Heatseaker' and then drop a little melodica on something Firehouse played that I can't remember this morning ... on the reggae side J.Proverbs & Dirty Harry were in the place holding a vibe ready for tonight's session plus Sabotage busted out the oz reggae anthem 'Black Footsteps' and impressed with his singjay skills on the one drop rhythms

a good year for Sydney this one with a lot of live artistes, dances, club nights and positive vibes around the place

respect to Elefant Tracks for working professionally and successfully!

Big ups to Astronomy Class, this was one solid show, if only because of Johnny Maddox on the bass, that man had it l-o-c-k-e-d d-o-w-n. Good vibes in the house with just about everybody jumping up on stage

big up to the Sydney massive for a wicked turnout and mad vibes at the Hermanns show - it was an awesome night, i loved every minute of it, especially seeing some of my old rudeboy brethren reunited - it really was the cherry on top for me. huge respect to the Firehouse crew for the awesome tunes and wicked vibes - ENTERTAINMENT fe real!!! i'd also like to big up Gina Mitchell, Hau, Urthboy, Ben Ezra, The Tongue, DJ 2 Buck, DJ Diaz, Tucker, and Sabotage who all shared their amazing talents and set the stage alight on the night - it was an honour to perform with you all... :respect:

we're really looking forward to Melbourne tomorrow and Friday - tomorrow night at the Espy front bar is free entry by the way - so no excuse to not come on down and get your party on with us. Friday night at the Evelyn should be a big one too - it's our proper Melbourne album launch - so expect big things.

Saturday night is Hobart's turn - should be fun, i did a few dj sets down there about 10 years back and really dug the vibes and crazy enthusiasm of the local heads, so i'm looking forward to seeing how things have progressed down there since then.

anyway - we're nearing the end of this tour, it's been a lot of fun - the response has been heart-warming and i'd like to thank any of you who've turned up for a show. we'll be doing more shows in the new year all around the place so i'll keep y'all posted on develpoments as they arise. after this weekend the next, and last, chance you'll have to see Astro Class this year will be at 'The Great Elefant Traks Xmas Party' on December 22 at new venue "The Factory" in downtown Marrickville (2204 represent!!!) - this will be a huge night with just about every Elefant Traks act making an appearance - so come along and get festive with us.

for now - PEACE!
